Refreshing talk on failure

In an odd sort of way, every now and again, it’s nice to hear about somebody else’s failures because it gives me a little bit of reassurance that I’m doing okay :-). In the world of design it’s too easy to get caught up in flicking through a load of polished images, forgetting about everything that goes on underneath that glossy veneer.

It’s Nice That themed their latest Nicer Tuesdays talks on failure. One story that resonated with me was from James Greenfield of design studio, Koto. Rather than talking about ‘designing a logo that looked like a virgina’ whilst at Design Studio, he gave us an insight into his career failures. Reflecting on these he’s come up with a list of 10 things to keep him on the right track.
